Durante una delle ultime interviste rilasciate per l’uscita di “Begin Again” (il primo cd degli Hell or Highwater, nuovo progetto dell’amico dei Sevenfold Brendon Saller) è stato tirato in ballo il lavoro di Matt nella canzone Go Alone.
Queste le parole di Brendon:

Revolver Magazine spoke with Brandon Saller of Hell Or Highwater about their new album “Begin Again,” recording with M Shadows and more. Now that y’all have had a chance to listen to the song a few times what do you think?

Revolver: And you’ve collaborated with Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows on the track “Go Alone”?

Brandon: Yeah, yeah, we’ve been friends for a while. I mean, obviously we’re both from Huntington beach and Atreyu and Avenged toured a lot throughout the years, and we’ve become close the last three or four years. We’d written it together a long, long time ago, so it’s nice to finally have that come out, too, because I think a lot of people will dig it.

Revolver ha chiesto a brandon riguardo la collaborazione e lui ha detto: “sisi siamo amici da tempo. Siamo entrambi di HB e gli Atreyu e gli Avenged sono stati in tour assieme a noi negli ultimi 3-4 anni, siamo diventati amici. Avevamo scritto la canzone (Go Alone) assieme molto tempo fa perciò è bello vederla finalmente realizzata, perchè penso che piacerà a parecchie persone”
