La band ieri sera si sarebbe dovuta esibire al North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre di Chula Vista, vicino San Diego, ma ha deciso all’ultimo secondo di annullare la propria esibizione a causa di alcuni problemi vocali di Matt che sta poco da alcuni giorni.
Lo show è stato posticipato e non cancellato, come riportato immediatamente sugli schermi della venue, alla fine delle esibizioni delle band di apertura.

Ecco quanto ha scritto Matt a riguardo:

So sorry San Diego: the reason we wait til last min to cancel is because 99% of the time we can sing through a sickness or get through the show without injury. The morning of Aftershock I woke up with a virus… we played through what I felt was a great show… after the show

the vocal chords were in tact and felt great. I took yesterday at home to sit in a steam room for about 6 hours, take vitamins and do everything possible to flush this sickness. Still the voice felt fine…. Waking up this morning the sickness was going away but I noticed

At around 8:30 it was obvious that that was not going to work for tonight and that it was better to live to fight another day. Again, there is no vocal cord damage.. I simply am sick and can’t make the noises I need to make. We will come back… so sorry for those who traveled.

La band non ha scritto alcun comunicato riguardo la cancellazione di ieri sera sui social principali degli A7X e non sappiamo ancora se lo show previsto per stasera a Phoenix sarà posticipato o meno.
